Dimensions: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Description:
146 pages, 70 black & white illustrations, size 5.5 x 8.5 inches. Originally published under a similar title, this book is one of The Motorcyclist’s Library series published in the USA by Floyd Clymer by arrangement with the original publishers, Pitman Ltd. of London, England.
This publication covers the entire range of J.A.P. Engines manufactured from 1927-1952 with the exception of the J.A.P. two-stroke engines. There is detailed text and diagrams to assist in a major refurbishing plus adequate technical data, charts, service and maintenance information for the repair and overhaul of those various engines. In addition, there are 58 pages that deal exclusively with the J.A.P. powered A.J.W. (1934-1950) and Cotton (1934-1952) motorcycles. As J.A.P. engines were also used by a number of other motorcycle manufacturers, including Brough Superior, Montgomery, Federation, O.K. Supreme etc. and as they were also used to power small trucks, three-wheelers, lawn mowers etc. this book would also be of assistance to the owners of those motorcycles, vehicles and J.A.P. powered equipment.
This publication has been out-of-print and unavailable for many years and is becoming increasingly more difficult to find on the secondary market. We are pleased to be able to offer this reproduction as a service to all J.A.P. powered vehicles, equipment, and motorcycle owners and enthusiasts worldwide.
